Track Of The Day :: Llovers - I Don’t Mind

Words: Ellie Ward

Busy boys are Teesside's Llovers of late. In between drummer Matty Jenkinson helping out buddies Lhymes, and guitarist David Macnab reviewing tracks for Little Indie's Roundtable this week, the band have also managed to release new single ‘I Don’t Mind’.

With an infectious blend of alt-pop, engaging, smooth harmonies and dreamy guitar work, the four-minute track is the kind you won't mind listening to more than once.

“Lyrically it’s a coming of age,” say the band. “It concerns that period, when growing, up that you realise despite all the impulsive decisions and fickle feelings it’s important to keep perspective as ‘time’ ultimately chooses our paths. Musically it’s just a lot of fun and our most electronic piece to date."
