Judging by the sight and sound of Los Angeles band Starcrawler with their part gritty punk rock, part glam fusion in Rough Trade released debut single 'Ants' - produced by Ryan Adams - their handful of UK dates next week are going to be a must-see.
Vocalist Arrow de Wilde (teenage daughter of drummer Aaron Sperske and photographer Autumn de Wilde) postures and poses like some female version of an early 70s Mick Jagger-cum-Iggy Pop hybrid in the accompanying video of live footage to the blistering sub-two-minute track. It may be short, but hell does it make you wanna grab some live action.
