Listen :: Sivu returns with first taste of new album in video to 'Childhood House'

Words: Sam Geary

It's been awhile since we last heard from Sivu. Now he returns with news of a forthcoming second album which will be released this summer, and early preview track, 'Childhood House'.

'Childhood House' - his first new material in over two years and which was written in the wilds of northern Scotland and finished back in London with long-term producer Charlie Andrew (the Brit Award-winner behind the likes of Alt-J and Marika Hackman) - mixes a simple piano with haunting vocals and electronics as it looks back on the relative safety of your family home, and considers how far you've come (also asking if you'd have known where life would take you thereafter, whether you'd have ever left).

Watch the video, which features a montage of family photos that reflect the lyrics, below.
