Track Of The Day :: Imaginary People - Mr. Hesitance

New York-based Imaginary People share the striking four-minute work 'Mr. Hesitance': a dark and thought-provoking narrative on an incompetent politician (no names mentioned), with vocalist Dylan Von Wagner taking a mighty lead on vocals backed with gritty reverb in a simmering intensity.

The track comes from their Kevin McMahon (Swans, Titus Andronicus, Real Estate)-produced second album 'October Alice' released on April 28 via Five Five Diamonds, following 2015's politically tinged debut 'Dead Letterbox'.

As we said when the band's lead cut 'Snapshot' made our Track Of The Week back in November, Imaginary People are from a similar stable to the late Augustines in their style of deep and personal lyricism, which is no bad thing at all.
