Listen :: Sundara Karma share 'Happy Family' from New Year dropping debut album

Words: Lara Fox

Ahead of their eagerly awaited debut album, Sundara Karma last week released a new track, 'Happy Family', to keep fans going until New Year.

The song is mesmerising, definitely notable, and shows all the form one might expect from the Reading four. Exploring a darker side with one of the saddest songs they've come out with, 'Happy Family' - which just edges over six minutes in length - starts off as a ballad, before it builds up to a big crescendo. With a solid beat, raw lyrics and 'banging' instrumentation, Sundara Karma have created a powerful tune.

The band's album, 'Youth Is Only Ever Fun in Retrospect', is released on January 6 2017 via Bee & El/Sony RAL. They also hit the road in January/February, including supporting Two Door Cinema Club. See dates further down.
