The Philly trio Dogs On Acid are about to release their self-titled debut album next month, and as an audio warm-up they have aired this second track from the record, 'Make It Easy'.
Originally appearing last year on a 7", the band - which features Peter Helmis of Algernon Cadwallader, Joe Reinhart of Hop Along, and Nate Dionne of Snowing - now turn out a slightly reworked version of the 90s indie sound. Opening on a psych refrain, the track then breaks into a rockin' garage vibe of fast-fire punchy hooks, tempo shifts, twanging guitars and catchy melody.
'Dogs On Acid' is out on August 28 via Jade Tree.
