April 3 2015 - Good Friday Hot Fifteen Easter Special

TURNOVER - NEW SCREAM

WASHED - CINDERS
One of several nicely flowing tracks dropped online over the last month by the Glasgow-based electronic pop producer. This isn't just run of the mill electro either.

LUSTS - MOUTHWASH
Second single for Leicester brothers Andy and James Stone, available now digitally, and follows the band's debut ‘Temptation’. Glistening, woozy melody with reverb laden guitars.

TABLE SCRAPS - ELECTRICITY
Sparky sub three-minute garage punk first single, out April 13, from the Birmingham duo, Scott Vincent Abbott (formerly of The Big Bang) and Poppy Twist (Poppy & The Jezebels), and taken from their 'More Time For Stranger debut album out in June.

STOKOLM - WOLF
Brittany-based six-piece indie outfit follow their 'Stranded' debut EP with single cut - "the story of a guy who was drowned by his desires and impulses" - from their first album 'In the Echo Chamber', released May 6.

LIFE - GO GO GO
The Hull punks going for it - “I knew I was a rat when I grew my daddy’s knuckles” - in 1:50 on the lead single (produced by Ian Dowling) from their debut EP 'I Knew I Was A Rat’, released on Birthday Records on May 11.

MT. WOLF - VIII (feat. Alexa Harley)
Continuing the succession of superbly executed mew tracks by the London trio since their reforming late last year, this one taken from the forthcoming 'Red' EP, released by X Novo on April 13.

SWISS LIPS - HONEY
Shimmery single cut from the self-titled debut LP from Manchester’s indie electro pop outfit, which came out two weeks ago. Sweetly dripping effervescence.

SAFARI GOLD - HOWL
“Angular pop laced with guitars and keyboards,” from the South Wales four-piece (produced by band member Lewys Isaac) on this choppy percussion and pulsing synth single, taken from EP out later in year

BEARSKIN - STARS
New London-based indie-rock five-piece with first taste from 'Afterthoughts', their debut EP, produced by Ben Jackson of To Kill A King. Enticing vocal, delicately engaging beat.

MARIBOU STATE - RAINCOATS
Electronic producers Chris Davids and Liam Ivory turn up the B-side to 'Rituals' with more atmospheric and emotively textured psych synth fuzz, which will also appear on their 'Portraits' EP out June 1.

MULTIPLIER - CHOICE
Moody Manchester melodics from the debut EP out May 9, by the four-piece early Doves-like outfit.

THE SILVER BAYONETS - SCHEMES
Catchy alt-rock lead single, released on April 6, from the London band's debut full-length 'The Pain Inside Your Head', dropping May 11.

OFF THE WALL - RED FACE TIGHT
Hard rockin', scorchingly riffed debut single from four Essex 16-year-olds (almost 'veterans' now, having got together aged 11-12), out on April 13.

BEL ESPRIT - ISLANDS
Infectious alt-rock single from Southampton four-piece lifted from debut EP 'Lose My Mind' released May 4 on 25Hour Convenience Store. Catch them tonight (April 3) at Barfly, Camden.
