We introduced new Japanese electro duo Yokan System here back in October, when they were about to release their first single, 'A Dream You Never Wake Up From'.
Now, as they return with their latest single, we have to admit to still being a little mystified by this Tokyo pair; and that 'Yokan Teresa' is like some barmy Japanese-styled spaghetti Western theme - all 111 seconds of it - doesn't help. But the fact is, they sound so gloriously quirky and effervescent that you just simply can't help falling in love with them - despite not really having a clue what they are singing about.
And as they head to Europe next month, and with 'Yokan Teresa' b/w 'Klee' is out on February 9 via Ample Play Records, we think they may just be winning a few Valentine's hearts en route.
