Track Of The Day :: Feral Five - Angel Road ('Dusk Til Dawn')

Feral Five who we featured back in September with '3D', now return with 'Angel Road ('Dusk Til Dawn').

The post punk/electro duo - Kat (vocals, guitar) and Drew (bass, beats) - from the London/Kent borders are sounding more darkly chillwave here, as they go "soul-searching" (or train spotting from the video...), and question "what lies behind the seemingly real façade of existence. The words of the song, like fragments of a shattered mirror, tell of broken dreams." They've got Robert Fripp talking about angels too.

The visuals are hand-coded glitch style. The track itself is available as a free download from Bandcamp.

Steve Lamacq is a big fan of Feral Five and already given the track airplay on his BBC Radio 6 Music show.
