Track Of The Day :: NAVVI - Perfect Speed

First featured here on Little Indie nearly a year ago when the Seattle-based NAVVI - vocalist Kristin Henry and producer Brad Boettger - followed up their two debut tracks from earlier in the year with the equally impressive 'Weekends' and 'No Lights'.

The experimental electro-pop duo have the knack of taking pop melodies and setting them into white soundscapes of cymbals and effects that make for that haunting quality as so well set out by our own London Grammar.

Latest offering 'Perfect Speed', the first cut from their forthcoming EP - and follow-up to 'Speak' which appeared on the 'Kitsuné America 3' compilation released back in June - is no less effective, with an abundance of rhythmic synth underpinning to Henry's floatingly lustrous vocal.

If you're hanging around the Seattle area, check them out live when they open for Ballet School at Barboza on October 27.
