One To Watch :: Vaults

Vaults featured in our Hot Top Ten last September when they announced themselves with 'Cry No More'. We said then that the London electro pop outfit were riding a low low profile - and until now that has proved right.

Aside from dropping another track 'Vultures' just before Christmas, things have been fairly quiet, however, the trio have just announced that they are to make their live debut on May 15 at The Courtyard in Hoxton, London – which having already sold out in barely 24 hours, indicates they may well be a band to keep your eye on. And should you wish to keep your beady one peeled, look out for them at Latitude and Festival No. 6.

Vaults are also set to release their debut single proper 'Premonitions' on June 9 via National Anthem (home of CHVRCHES and Haim amongst others). With one of those scintillating vocals a la London Grammar's Hannah Reid, against clipped electro beats and icy synths in a polished production finish, at three and a half minutes it still feels way too short.

Check out the audio video below for 'Premonitions', or stream via their SOUNDCLOUD - where it has had nearly 24,000 plays in just over 3 days.
